March Serenity - Saturday 21st

€55.00

As March arrives, the landscape begins to change - longer light, softer air, and the first real sense of forward movement after winter. Our March Serenity is designed to help you meet this seasonal shift with intention: clearing mental clutter, reconnecting to your body and tuning into what you want to grow and nurture over the months ahead.

We’ll begin outdoors with a mindful forest-bathing walk through the water gardens and private woodland of the estate. A slow, grounding way to arrive, regulate the nervous system and open the senses. Spring is a natural invitation to come back into rhythm: to refresh your energy, reconnect with what matters and create space for new habits, ideas and intentions to take root.

From there, we’ll move indoors for a cup of ceremonial cacao - a gentle heart-centred ritual to support presence, emotional clarity and inner connection. This is a calm space to reflect, set intentions for the season ahead and soften into stillness before we move.

We’ll then flow into gentle, accessible yoga. A nourishing practice to release tension, support circulation and mobility. Inviting a sense of steadiness and renewed energy. Think grounded, slow movement, breath-led pacing and plenty of options so you feel supported exactly as you are.

We’ll close with a restorative guided meditation to integrate the day, settle the nervous system, and anchor what you’re taking forward.

Founder of Anam Kara | Wellness Advocate | Nature Enthusiast

Sophie’s wellness journey began after a childhood accident left her unable to walk for three years. When modern medicine failed, ancient healing practices such as reflexology and acupuncture helped her recover, sparking a lifelong passion for holistic health. She went on to explore yoga, meditation, movement and contrast therapy, proving that “it’s never too late” for the body and mind to transform.

She founded Anam Kara, a new wellness centre at Glendalough House, as a space for community, restoration and connection to nature. Sophie’s vision is to create a modern sanctuary in the Wicklow Mountains, blending ancient healing practices with contemporary wellness.

What do I need to bring?

We will send out a detailed list of what to bring, for now just excitement and enthusiasm for our day.

What is Cacao?

In it's rawest form, cacao is a heart-opening beneficial medicinal plant. It is consumed in ceremony as a warm drink . We source our ceremonial grade cacao directly from it origin in the jungle rainforests of Guatemala.
